A review of the After Effects plugin.
Mettle FreeForm Pro is a 3D mesh generator which can take 2D images and distort them in 3D space inside After Effects. you can use handles to distort a layer in 3D space or use a greyscale image to create 3D displacement. At the time of recording, its price tag was $199 - I got it in a sale for $149.
I have had no contact with the Mettle team for this review - this video is entirely my personal experience.
