Cakes provide a simple shape and a perfect surface for using with After Effects' 3D Camera Tracker. Additionally, CakeFX allows you to showcase your visual effects skills to your family and friends who may not fully understand what you do. And let's not forget the best part - you get to enjoy some delicious cake while receiving easy praise for your creations. 
Quick turnaround is key in this process, so you can share your animations while the cake is still fresh. Throughout the tutorial, I'll offer plenty of tips to help you produce amazing results efficiently. This video is a LOT different from my usual tutorials as I kick things off by preparing a homemade chocolate cake from scratch. I even share a secret tip that will make all the difference in achieving a moist and fluffy cake.

Chocolate Cake Recipe

You need two loose-base cake tins (19cm / 7.5"). 
Set oven to 160oC or 320oF for fan or 180oC or 360oF for conventional ovens. 
Self-Raising flour: 200 grams 1.6 cups. (If you don’t have self-raising flour, add 3 teaspoons of baking powder.) 
Cocoa powder: 25 grams. 
Bicarbonate of soda: ½ teaspoon 
Light brown sugar: 275 grams 
Butter: 50 grams 
Milk: 150 millilitres / 5 fl.oz Eggs: 
3 Vanilla Extract: a bit 
Bake for 30 minutes
