In this video, I'm combining the worlds of VFX and food to create something truly unique: #CakeFX ! While it may seem like an odd idea at first, there are several benefits to exploring this creative fusion. Cakes provide a simple shape and a perfect surface for using with After Effects' 3D Camera Tracker. Additionally, CakeFX allows you to showcase your visual effects skills to your family and friends who may not fully understand what you do. And let's not forget the best part - you get to enjoy some delicious cake while receiving easy praise for your creations.
Quick turnaround is key in this process, so you can share your animations while the cake is still fresh. Throughout the tutorial, I'll offer plenty of tips to help you produce amazing results efficiently. This video is a LOT different from my usual tutorials as I kick things off by preparing a homemade chocolate cake from scratch. I even share a secret tip that will make all the difference in achieving a moist and fluffy cake.
If nothing else, this video allows me to talk about After Effects' included and very powerful 3D Camera Tracker.
