A couple of years ago, you may have noticed a new option in the composition menu. Responsive Design - Time is a barely mentioned feature of After Effects. It allows you to adjust a precomp's duration but lock in any animations without needing to use Time Remapping and setting keyframes. In this brief video, I show you what it does, how to adjust it and how to edit and delete the protected zones.
